Palin Sinking With McCain
 "McCain used Palin like a cheap tool to keep from getting beat worse than Reagan did to Mondale. His staff mocked her and showed no respect. Now McCain is using her again like a cheap tool and this time she is willingly doing it under the guise of loyalty. As long as McCain is the face of the GOP, conservatives are irrelevant. Palin is playing politics and this goes against what she "supposedly" represents. She helps elect McCain, she's done."

If the Tea Party Movement is true to their cause they should support J.D. Hayworth for his positions on lower taxes.

 In comparing Hayworth to McCain, Rose said “their records on taxes are black and white,” as “J.D. Hayworth has been a consistent conservative on reducing taxes and Senator McCain has famously flipped-flopped.”
Among issues that Hayworth and Arizona Tea Party groups have criticized McCain for is his stance on immigration and support for a guest worker program.

Thoughts on the Nashville Tea Party Convention and Sarah Palin

I think branding this as a “national” tea party convention was and is a bit presumptuous given what the tea party movement is, but in my time walking around, talking to people, hearing people, and repeatedly having to defend Sarah Palin to a skeptical press, I think the convention turned out okay.

…regarding the tea party movement. Massachusetts changed everything. The plunging polls of the Dems changed everything. Read tonight’s headlines in the big newspapers, CNN, AP–they’re treating it straight–for what it is, a grass-roots phenomenon rarely seen in American politics. Palin’s speech is being seriously reported–and getting wide attention–and respect, as though she were a presidential candidate. Our situation is tremendously different now vis a vis the opposition. They know we wield power. They are behaving accordingly. They have been absolutely stunned by what has been happening since this summer.

Our Congressman yielded to Nancy Pelosi's arm-twisting and voted with other liberal Democrats to increase the federal national debt limit by $1.9 trillion to an astounding $14.3 trillion. This partisan vote demonstrates a complete lack of fiscal responsibility and an utter disregard for the economic and monetary consequences of unrestrained spending.

Siding with powerful business interests that profit from hiring illegal aliens, a federal appellate court has struck down as unconstitutional key employment provisions in Oklahoma’s strict immigration control law.
 
In mid 2008 a federal judge (Robin Cauthron) in Oklahoma City blocked all three employment provisions, ruling that the state measure preempts federal law on immigration and that the state cannot create or impose guidelines that conflict with the Constitution or federal law.
