United States Senate
Washington, DC 20510
Dear Senator:
Like many of your constituents, I strongly OPPOSE the nomination of Alex Acosta to be Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights. One's choice of language is NOT a protected civil right. Mr. Acosta believes it is. One cannot change their skin color, race or national origin and that is why we established civil rights legislation.
Mr. Acosta and all those who try to make language a civil right mock all of our civil rights laws and abuse America's good nature.
Please oppose the Acosta nomination and help put and end to efforts to further divide the American people by opposing efforts to make language a protected civil right. Thank you.
Sincerely
