Earlier this year President Obama appointed Arif Alikhan to be the nation’s Assistant Secretary for Policy Development at the Department of Homeland Security and Kareem Shora to the agency’s influential advisory council, which provides recommendations and advice directly to the Secretary of Homeland Security.

Don't be fooled by these crackdowns.
Feds hit farms looking for illegal immigrants
Federal Immigration officials served subpoenas on at least four Vermont dairy farms Thursday as part of a national crackdown on businesses suspected of using immigrant workers who have entered the country illegally.
Kelly Loftus, a spokeswoman for the state Agency of Agriculture, said the farmers were asked to provide paperwork to the federal agents to show that any foreign workers they employ have the proper documents.

Watch for Feds to make some immigration enforcement moves in preparation for the coming Amnesty legislation. Just recently they have been promoting e-verify.
Every major City has sanctuary rules that prohibit local police from questioning illegals about their status and communication with ICE is not allowed. In fact small towns and communities have the same rules, written or unwritten. They are all in fear of being sued by the politically correct organization that protect the illegals. ACLU, La Raza, ADL, etc., These organizations are the non-governmental enforcement arms of political correctness in America today.
Don't be fooled by the government crackdowns in the coming months. America is one great sanctuary for illegals, including criminals and terrorists, and will continue to be so even after an Amnesty is passed. In fact the situation may become far worse because these new legalized trespassers will be able to bring in millions more of their fellow country men and relatives.
There are laws pertaining to how one gains entry into our country. There are valid reasons for these laws and they must be enforced.
Amnesty legislation must be blocked.
Not tough enough! Palin's still light on Immigration.
Where Does Sarah Palin Stand On An Immigration Moratorium?
Palin risks losing support of conservatives over illegal immigration issue
Peter Brimelow's review of what is known about Sarah Palin and the illegal immigration issue is very troubling, especially the part where she says look to border governors for leadership. "If Sarah Palin wants us to look to Gov. Richardson of New Mexico for leadership, she just lost me," said Glenn Spencer of the American Patrol Report.
"Rush asked her about immigration in general and her instinct was to talk about enforcement and imply others didn't want to enforce the law. She coulda launched into amnesty babble. So she showed a little bit of tooth. But way too little for the audience she was speaking to.
"But the comment about the border governors shows naiveté and/or ignorance. None of those guys want the laws enforced. They're either too scared of their militant Hispanic groups, or they honestly want the country swamped.
