++ Border Security bills derailed! Action needed ++

Martin,

Just got notified from my sources on the Hill that House
leadership is giving in to pressure and WILL NOT include
two key border security bills in the Homeland Security
Appropriations bill.

Here's what happened...

Last week the House passed HR 6094 and HR 6095 (two tough
border security bills--see below for details), but Sen.
Specter and others made it clear that these bills were
DOA in the Senate. So House leaders moved to include
these bills in the Homeland Security Appropriations
bill. This would have forced the Senate to address
these border security measures or risk holding up
Homeland Security appropriations.

This morning I am being told that House leaders have
caved to pressure from the Senate Amnesty Gang --
effectively killing these bills! Ron De Jong and I
filed this audio update to give you more background:

Please call House Republican leaders and DEMAND that
they include HR 6094 and HR 6095 in the "Homeland
Security Appropriations Bill". Phone numbers:

          Speaker Hastert: 202-225-0600
          Majority Leader Boehner: 202-225-4000
          Majority Whip Blunt: 202-225-0197

Also, call your Representative and say:

          "I OPPOSE the "Homeland Security Appropriations"
          bill if it does not include the Border Security
          bills -- HR 6094 and HR 6995."

Also mention that you oppose the 18-month delay in a
crucial secure documents provision recommended by
the 9/11 Commission.

The Amnesty Senators have their hands all over this. They
will stop at nothing to obstruct real border security
measures. Please call the House leaders and your
Representative.
