Standard Operating Procedure And Conduct For Members Of The United Patriot Of America During A Peaceful Protest Or Rally – Subject: Securing America’s Borders:
1) Prior to an organized protest or rally, a UPA member will advise local law enforcement authorities of the event. If possible, in person and with a fellow UPA member. Familiarize police with the UPA and that of possible counter protesters: www.plp.org Provide them with this document. Be pleasant and respectful. Remember: you are under a microscope, UPA members are being held to a higher standards, obey the law.
2) All signs or flags must be approved by Line Captain prior to event.
3) If law enforcement or the media wish to discuss the event, assigned individual(s) will respond. Do not remove yourself from a line to listen or comment unless Line Captain indicates.
4) UPA members will not respond to taunts or harassment from agitators. A friendly wave or smile to those who show support with your position is permitted. UPA members will have no contact with suspected illegal aliens. We are protesting our governments inability to secure our nations borders. If a Line Captain asks you to leave the line, you will agree – no argument.
5) Discourage unknown individuals who show support for your position from immediately joining the line. An assigned UPA member should speak to him/her alone and vet them. Obtain information and familiarize them with the UPA do’s and don’ts. Provide them with this document.
6) If a new member participates in a protest, they will placed in the charge of a veteran UPA member who will observe their conduct.
7) UPA members respect the property rights of everyone. Clean your perimeter, leave no garbage behind.
It is clearly understood that you are joining the United Patriots of America not because of bias towards people from other countries, but rather because we believe it is necessary for the laws of our country to be obeyed and respected and our Government should provide us safe secure borders as provided for in the Constituion under Article IV, Section 4. It is not in our countries best interest to allow people from all over the world to enter the country illegally and take advantage of our open and free society.
