CRITICAL TIME FOR HB 3119
Bill status HB 3119: by Representative Randy Terrill, creating the Oklahoma Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act passed the committee hearing by a 5-4 (Republican Democrat) vote along party lines.

It appears Republican Todd Hiett might be succumbing to special interest groups. Pressure from big business employers have gotten his ear.
HB 3119 must be scheduled this week for an “up/down” vote on the House Floor - or the bill dies.
So, who is opposing the bill??? Citizens know the answer -- employers skirting FICA/FUTA, churches, car dealerships, immigration lawyers, banks, and State agency directors all want more illegals in Oklahoma because they profit from them.
THE CRUX OF THE ISSUE:
Employers refuse to “sponsor” their illegal “cheap labor” and demand the taxpayers subsidize their employees. Taxpayers demand that the dead-beat employer subsidize their own employee. We refuse to pay $2,700 yearly to subsidize an illegal worker.
