THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT, Ms. Waldron!
Mr. Steve Merrill:
Thank you so much for your note.  You make excellent points and I appreciate your past experience and insight as an immigration officer.  The time to act locally is now; in fact it is almost too late.  It is up to us, as the Feds will clearly not do anything about securing the borders.  I applaud the USBP and understand they are doing all they can with limited resources and limited support from the Federal government.

Sincerely,Marie Waldron

Expansion of alien removal policy could create logistical headaches
GOVERNMENT EXECUTIVE MAGAZINE – October 12, 2005 FULL ARTICLE
An expansion of the government's power to detain and remove illegal immigrants without hearings or review raises numerous policy, resource and logistical questions, according to a new report from the Congressional Research Service.
