MINUTEMEN STEP UP MEXICAN BORDER PATROL...
BROWNSVILLE, Texas (Reuters) - A U.S. militia group will launch a month-long sweep for illegal immigrants along the border with Mexico this weekend, stepping up a campaign that has raised fears of violence.   Volunteers plan to gather at seven sites between San Diego, California, and Brownsville, Texas, throughout October to scour the deserts for illegal immigrants and report them to the U.S. Border Patrol so they can be arrested................  Now, for the first time, the Minutemen are taking their protest to all four U.S. states along the porous 2,000-mile (3,200-km) border with Mexico beginning on Saturday.   "It is being very tightly controlled this time because the opposition has blatantly said that they are going to direct violence at our volunteers," Minuteman founder Chris Simcox told Reuters in a telephone interview.... Some of the Minutemen were armed. U.S. President George W. Bush has called them "vigilantes" and Mexico's government dubbed the group "migrant hunters."  ..... "We will be going home when the government sends troops or the National Guard to secure the border," Simcox said. "Until then, the patrols will continue."
.....  Contrary to recent reports in the media, the MCDC has greatly expanded since April of 2005 to put forth a strong national effort with thousands of registered volunteers to assist in securing this nation’s borders from illegal entry.   Chris Simcox introduced the Vietnam Veterans and Gulf War Coalition and Rolling Thunder at the event as active supporters of Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. These large veterans groups are placing volunteers on the border to participate in our October efforts to secure the border and report illegal activity to the Border Patrol.

BEHIND IMMIGRATION RHETORIC IS COMPLEX SET OF PROBLEMS
Cynthia Tucker via Yahoo! News Sat, 01 Oct 2005 5:06 PM PDT
In every time and in every place, there are demagogues who ride to power by whipping up the fears and resentments of an anxious populace. Our current Joseph McCarthys are the contentious cranks and nativists who want to drive every illegal immigrant -- especially Mexicans, Hondurans and Guatemalans -- out of the country.

Please make note of the totally balanced - UNBIASED - opening comments by this reporter(?)
This isn't a *reporter* - it is a facilitator - preparing the BOX for the readers to be in while reading her indoctrination opinion piece, masquerading as a news report.  We all know that Cynthia Tucker is nothing more than a WELFARE PIMP FOR ILLEGALS -  A traitor of the highest degree to all things AMERICAN.  A traitor who goes whoring after everything to destroy America.  Illegal Invasion is NOT a *complex issue*.  It is a simple one in fact that many are trying to make *complex*.  It is so simple that it irritates the FOX WELFARE QUEENS so they have to try to fire things up with labels like RACIST - BIGOT - HATE MONGER - when the reality is that all we are asking is for the LAW to be enforced and to DEPORT all those who have broken the laws on immigration.  There should NEVER have been any *anchor baby* regulation allowed.  Believe me - once these traitors accomplish their NEW LAWS they will DEMAND that the LAW be enforced -  it all depends on which side of the law you are on at the time.   Jackie Juntti
