As an elected official, there are many challenges to be faced. None, however, are more important than a secure state. If America does not secure her national borders, then there will be no government to deal with. Loss of national soverignty is quickly followed by the loss of national identity, culture and values. America's very existence hangs in the balance of illegal immigration overwhelming our social and economic resources.

If we are proud to be American, we must be willing to take a stand and demand the defense of America.

Sincerely,

Robert Vasquez

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
8 September 05

Canyon County Commissioner, and candidate for Idaho’s 1st Congressional District, Robert Vasquez today charged Idaho’s Congressional Delegation with seeking to subvert the will of the people, ignore traditional Republican Primary Campaign rules, cater to corporate greed, and pandering to illegal aliens.

“It appears that Idaho’s Congressional delegation has decided to castaway another Republican traditional tenant. They have taken sides in the 1st Congressional District Primary, and picked a dog in this race. The Sorensen Campaign on September 8, 2005, sent out an email announcing that both Idaho Senator’s, and both Congressmen, will ‘extend a helping hand’ to that campaign” Commissioner Vasquez stated.

“It is disappointing to learn that Mike Simpson wasn’t serious about taking a strong stand against illegal aliens as was reported to his Idaho constituents. It would not be possible for Rep. Simpson to oppose the invasion of illegal aliens, while helping the candidate that wants to give Idaho’s jobs to those same illegal aliens” CommissionerVasquez said.

“Republicans in Idaho should be concerned that Idaho’s Congressmen and Senator's support and represent the interests of Corporate business, and give better representation to illegal aliens, than to their fellow Idahoans. Of greater concern, is the apparent anointment of a carpet bagger, and candidate working to keep illegal aliens in Idaho. It seems she would work to find a way to give them amnesty.” Vasquez said

“I ask my fellow Idahoans, to call each of our members in congress and ask if there will also be a fund raiser held at the Mexican Consulate in Washington, D.C. One would think they will want to present their pick to the Mexican government for their approval” Commissioner Vasquez stated.

Lastly, to my fellow Idahoans, and future constituents, I ask “Are you offended that Larry Craig, Mike Crapo, Butch (I want to be Idaho Governor) Otter, and Mike Simpson think you can not make the right decision on May 23, 2006?” Vasquez asked.
