United Patriots of America
Preamble: There is absolutely no doubt that there is a basic fundamental need for unity and solidarity in order to win our battle against the 'human tsunami' of illegal aliens crushing our country. We need to present a UNITED FRONT by coming together in a NATIONWIDE association that will provide a cohesive, empowered majority voice. An association, that will provide support for local activist activities, while it exercises the same kind power and influence that the AARP and the NRA wield, in meeting their goals.
We believe that by, uniting the diverse but dispersed activists, groups and organization together in solidarity, we will, by virtue of our sheer size, create a powerful voice that will be heard, heeded and respected! What would Lech Walensa in Poland and Victor Yushchenko in the Ukraine have achieved without SOLIDARITY? Solidarity is the KEY to our future success.
Lastly, the United Patriots of America (UPA) has the singular distinction of having an extraordinarily appropriate name under which to form the association and pursue the stated goal of creating a unifying nationwide association.
Organizational Purpose: To form a coalition that will unite all the small, medium and large, anti-illegal alien groups and individual activists, into one large association. The rationale is that that we will be greater and more powerful than the sum of our parts. That fact, will allow us to wield the power necessary to demand: Enforcement of our immigration laws, seal our borders against illegal entry, and wage the war to stop and reverse the overwhelming, massive, illegal alien invasion, balkanizing our country!
How It Can Be Accomplished: We are currently recruiting willing volunteers in each state whose job it is to locate and contact all of the anti-illegal alien activists and groups they can locate, within their state. That information will be added to our current data base. In the near future, we will begin to follow up with invitational emails and letters offering the chance to sign-on in association with the United Patriots of America. Those who care to join will be known as an AFFILIATE in the association.
UPA's Commitment to the Affiliates: To provide a world class website (we're working on it!) that will allow you to post your local events, find out who else near you, are anti-illegal alien activists, groups or organizations. You will be able to learn about where they are located, what projects they are involved in, and when and where they are carrying out their activist work. Using a 'clickable' map and/or ZIP code . . . you will be able to keep abreast of who, what, when and where other activists are operating so that you can participate or offer your talents!
Benefits for Affiliates: UPA will provide 'support and direction' to new start up groups by providing 'how to' on-line manuals for creating, developing, and maintaining a local group. Since the local affiliates will be independent of the UPA they can forge onward, with UPA backing, to create strategies, target issues, fight for legislation or against illegal aliens and their supporters or employers, patrol the borders or function in any fashion they chose, within their local domains or elsewhere.
The UPA intends to provide 'think tank' guidance through regular meetings of a leadership council that will work to provide direction, education, support and information that will 'arm' the local affiliates against their adversaries. In return the local affiliates will agree to mobilize as a cohesive unit when the need arises such as a MAJOR national legislative push, a MAJOR Minuteman project, or other similar MAJOR NATIONAL EVENTS requiring nationwide solidarity.
A Leadership Council will be formed in order to provide a forum for the membership's leaders to come together, on a regular basis. Since there is a 'wealth' of collective expertise and experience among the anti-illegal alien activists and groups, the association should capture that 'energy' in order in order to achieve our collective goals of solidarity and wielding our power effectively. The forum will allow the leaders to bring forward their ideas, strategies, information and practical solutions. They will work to help form the future direction for the association. Their suggestions will be voted upon by the membership before being adopted or implemented.
Plan of Action: There will be nominal annual membership dues required, in order to fund the website, which will provide the membership access to mass emailing, with secure access provided for posting of events and announcements. We are working to find corporate sponsors, media connections and public relations personnel. We will locate and engage a 'legal arm' of pro bono or non-profit activist lawyers. We plan to have vetted spokespersons that can be on 'standby' as the media 'go to' persons. Create and use and identifiable logo and motto (i.e., "United We Stand") and other UPA identifying paraphernalia that will advertise your involvement in the solidarity organization of the United Patriots of America!
The Vision: Even if things are just beginning, do not stand back and watch! Instead register as an activist or affiliate NOW! As happened with the Minuteman Project, the association will grow to become a vehicle capable of achieving power, through unity and solidarity, under the banner of the United Patriots of America.
One Voice: Through solidarity, we can work far more effectively to end the massive, overwhelming, illegal immigration ravaging our country! By joining together we will become a cohesive, empowered majority voice! It will be EMPOWERING to belong to the United Patriots of America, an association that encompasses all anti-illegal alien activists, in a recognized name of SOLIDARITY!
