This is a fund raising letter that does NOT say, "give to my organization so that I can help this organization ..or that cause."
This letter is a request to please help Protect Arizona Now and send money directly to them. PAN is not a 501[c]3 but it is a completely volunteer organization and every dollar goes to the bottom line.
PAN's Proposition 200 is the only such initiative on the ballot anywhere in the United States.
It is a three-part law enforcement initiative. It requires those registering to vote to prove citizenship. Those voting to prove their identity. And those applying for non-federally-mandated public benefits to prove eligibility.
Please help if you can . with money, or by going to Arizona to register voters.

The union trying to keep this off the ballot has already vowed to take their case, which has already been certified for fast-tracking, to the Supreme Court. We need tens of thousands of dollars right away for our legal team to have a chance in court. Remember, it doesn't matter how meritless a plaintiff's claims are if there's no one in court to oppose them.
Plus, we absolutely must raise at least $250,000 right away for an advertising program to combat the millions of dollars (don't believe the $2 million figure in the papers at all -- it'll be more than twice that) being raised for smear campaigns and negative ads by the pro-illegal-alien lobby . . unions (what a slap in their members' faces), the education establishment, the Interfaith Councils/ Catholic Church/other liberal churches, agriculture/construction/travel-tourism industries, Governor/Attorney General/Phoenix Mayor/Democratic Party, chambers of commerce, not to mention dozens and dozens of statewide and national Hispanic and migrant advocacy groups.
