Britain's Daily Mail Says Two Million
Up to two million people marched to the U.S. Capitol today, carrying signs with slogans such as "Obamacare makes me sick" as they protested the president's health care plan and what they say is out-of-control spending.
 
The line of protesters spread across Pennsylvania Avenue for blocks, all the way to the capitol, according to the Washington Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency.

I was there too!  Just got back home.  Live in North Carolina.  The NCTeaparty.com took 7 busses.  On the list of known busses, there were at least 10 groups sending busses from NC.  I heard there were 4 from Greensboro and some from Burlington as well as Asheville. I suspect there were representatives from all 50 states.  They made an announcement that we had  folks from Hawaii and Alaska as well.  While I'm no crowd expert, there sure were a lot of people there.   We heard late in the afternoon that the crowd covered the lawn of the capital building plus all the way to the Washington Monument and all of Pennsylvania Ave.  We were on the lawn of the capital to the right of the speakers.  I just had one of the best days of my life. I have never felt such energy.  Like this is a real movement and folks aren't giving up.  I am in my 50's and have never protested anything before this year.  Started in my local Tea Parties.  Today was just unbelievable.  And I will say, I did speak with two people who said there were Capital Policemen who said they estimated the crowd at more than 2 million.  Were they telling the truth?  I have no idea.  Am I hoping Obama gets the message?  Sure am, but I doubt that ego sees anything!  If this becomes an annual thing, I'm there every year!!!

Joe Was Right.....Obama Was Lying
Thank goodness Joe had the courage to call the President out on it!  Illegal immigrants are definitely getting health insurance under the President's plan.  There is no question about it!
 
Joe and other Republicans tried to get the Democrats to agree to an amendment to the health care bill which would have specifically required the government to verify the legal status of anyone receiving benefits under the plan and Democrats voted "NO" and killed it!

THE CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2009 – CHICAGO November 8th to 22nd
 
The Continental Congress will meet for two weeks in Chicago to examine Federal Government violations of the U.S. Constitution.  The CC-2009 will be assisted by a battery of Constitutional Law Attorneys and Scholars.  The CC-2009 is NOT a constitutional convention, on the contrary. The CC-2009 will meet to PROTECT and DEFEND the Constitution; and not to change it.
 
Each state and the District of Columbia will be represented by three elected representatives.  Nominations for delegates is open now.  The delegate election will take place on October 10th.
 
At its conclusion, the CC-2009 will present the U.S. Congress with a 1st Amendment formal Redress of Grievances accompanied by a deadline and consequences.  Remember that a handful of men were responsible for the Boston Tea Party and the beginning of the end of English tyranny
                                                        
Jummah prayer on Capitol Hill
September 25, 2009

50,000 Muslims to attend all day prayer gathering in front of the capital building.
Washington, D.C. -  On September 25th there will be a national prayer gathering of Muslims on the west front of the U.S. Capitol Building.  They are expecting at least 50,000 to attend from mosques all across America.They will gather to pray from 4:00 AM until 7:00 PM. The gathering will take place by the site where U.S. Presidents have been inaugurated since 1981.  The organizers say that it was Obama's inauguration speech in January and his speech broadcast from Egypt in June that gave them the idea for this prayer gathering on Capitol Hill.

Wouldn't it be great if the Tea Party folks in NJ who went to the march in DC could make the connection and join us at the line on Saturday in Bergenfield/ Dumont. It's a lot closer and would really send a message to the "party members" who run the state, counties and towns that the march Saturday was not just a one time event; that we mean business and we're going to take back our country at the local level.
Since the Minuteman Project on the border in 2005 we've dreamed of a Million American March to Washington and finally we got one.
Maybe now that the Tea Party groups are becoming more organized, the leaders and the rank and file will see the wisdom of joining us on Saturday morning.
Open borders and non-enforcement of our immigration laws is another symptom of the ideologies that the Tea Party marchers were protesting against in Wash. DC
Foreign illegal trespassers are a drain on NJ's school system and health care system. NJ spends over 2.1 billion dollars a year on illegal aliens.
Continuing to provide illegal aliens with a sanctuary and government funded services encourages more illegal aliens to enter our country illegally. When does this stop. And if it isn't stopped look at what the consequences are. Remember, 8% of all illegal aliens are felonies from their country of origin, 30% per cent of all prisoners in the US are foreign born not to mention the unknown number of possible middle Eastern sleeper cells that are here. The cost of government services to illegals and the cost of prison incarceration is an important component in our high real estate takes and other state taxes.
