France's trade unions staged a national strike protesting the economic downturn and causing a one-day stoppage in rail, air and local transport throughout the country on Thursday. Similar protests in the United States this summer are becoming increasingly likely, as tent cities for the homeless are springing up in dozens of U.S. cities, Jerome Corsi's Red Alert reports.

He put the challenge directly to the judge:
"The Constitution clearly states, with no possible ambiguity – in Article 2, Section 1 – that 'No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President,'" he wrote.
"America is going down the drain – economically and Constitutionally, with terrorists and illegal aliens pouring across our borders like invading armies practically unopposed – but our insufferable, over-bloated, dictatorial government, while turning a blind eye to all that, has time and money to send two high-paid federal marshals – probably $130,000.00 each – to harass a citizen daring to exercise his precious First Amendment rights, which you want to destroy," he wrote.

An ex-military officer has raised the stakes in the ongoing dispute over Barack Obama's eligibility to be president, filing a criminal complaint against the "imposter" with the U.S. attorney's office for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Retired U.S. Navy officer Walter Francis Fitzpatrick III, who has run a campaign for two decades to uncover and try to correct what he believes are criminal activities within the military, accused the president of "treason."
In his complaint addressed to Obama via U.S Attorney Russell Dedrick and Assistant U.S. Attorney Edward Schmutzer, Eastern District, Tennessee, Fitzpatrick wrote: "I have observed and extensively recorded invidious attacks by military-political aristocrats against the Constitution for twenty years.

Of all of the cries and entreaties for vigilance in protecting our U.S. Constitution, this one by Dr. Kate rings most clearly and strikes most deeply. Lawyers, judges, citizens, journalists, and wise men and women are standing to sound the alarm but many other lawyers, judges, citizens, and journalists, guided by misplaced loyalties and emotional desires which trump law and reason, have turned a deaf ear.
