Brick thrown through window in Slaughter's Falls office

NIAGARA FALLS ? The "Slaughter Solution" on health care isn't the only thing that has come under attack in U.S. Rep. Louise M. Slaughter's world this week. Sometime early this morning, someone threw a brick through the front window of her Pine Avenue office.The damage was discovered about 12:30 a.m., city police said.
If our political leaders are truly concerned about the welfare of American workers,
they must foreswear amnesty, secure our borders and vigorously enforce existing immigration laws.

Unemployment is hovering around 10 percent. There are an estimated 8 million U.S. jobs held by illegal aliens, yet the Obama Administration is reducing worksite enforcement and continues admitting more than a million foreign workers a year to take American jobs. Moreover, the administration continues to promote a mass amnesty that would permanently confer legal status to those working illegally — all while American citizens and legal workers struggle to find decent wages to pay their mortgages and put food on the table.

Amnesty Forces Prepare for D.C. Rally
On Sunday, March 21, amnesty supporters from across the country will convene in Washington, D.C. to demand that the U.S. Congress pass legislation granting amnesty to the approximately 11 million illegal aliens ( more like 20-30 million) currently residing in the United States. Billed the “March for America,” the event is being spearheaded by “Reform Immigration for America,” a coalition of “individuals and grassroots organizations” that support amnesty. The administration may trump the health-care debate with another divisive issue -- "comprehensive reform" on immigration -- that's surely just as "politically unpopular."
Yet tackling illegal immigration right now would be a political nightmare.

He’s a clueless promoter of bailout-happy, big government Republican Sen. John McCain. And Armey’s a blowhard-y Beltway dinosaur who can’t resist shooting off his mouth and alienating the Tea Party base while criticizing other conservatives of alienation. At the National Press Club to promote the D.C. protest against Demcare, Armey veered off into a liberal platitude-littered rant against conservatives who believe in strict enforcement of our immigration laws.
