As the big race heats up with less than two months before the election, a lot of people are writing and asking what is my and/or SDMM's take on the race now that Gov. Palin is on McCain's ticket. Some are misinterpreting some recent emails thinking that all border security activists are now supporting McCain. Most of us are not since he has not changed his stance on amnesty. Speaking for myself and many of our top members and leaders in this movement, our position has not changed. The two leading candidates both claim that granting amnesty (or legalization) to 20-30 million illegal aliens is the best way to solve the invasion from Mexico of drugs, criminals, gang members, and poor, uneducated peasants. Obama and McCain are both WRONG and will always be wrong unless they drop their call for amnesty! Their stated immigration plans, should they ever be implemented, will destroy America forever and "balkanize" our beloved American Republic into some unrecognizable third-word, socialist, hybrid country. Just the way our socialist elite ruling class wants it! SDMM has a 3 year record of only supporting anti-illegal immigration and secure borders candidates. We are not going to compromise now! Obama and McCain are very pro-illegal alien and falsely pander for the Hispanic vote by supporting illegal immigration. Sarah Palin's addition to the McCain ticket does nothing to change MCCAIN'S plans to implement "comprehensive immigration reform" (AMNESTY) which would open the floodgates to tens of millions for poor, foreign relatives of our new "citizens". Just like Palin said about the 'bridge to nowhere', we say "Thanks, but NO THANKS!". Just SECURE OUR BORDERS and enforce all immigration laws. Yes, it really is that simple. The only candidate still running who promises to do secure America, which over 80% of the citizens are demanding in accordance with the U.S. Constitution, is Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party. Many in our movement will continue to support Baldwin and vote for him in November, while many others will vote for McAmnesty and hope that he changes his ways after 72 years. We at SDMM understand the two schools of thought and respect everyone's opinion, regardless of the choice they make Nov. 4th. Regardless of which major party candidate wins this election, we'll be fighting against Amnesty harder than ever in 2009. Personally, I only vote for the BEST candidate running, so I will join Jerome Corsi, Ron Paul, most John Birch Society members, and millions of other great Americans in voting for Dr. Chuck Baldwin. Please vote for the candidate that you feel is best. SDMM will continue to focus our limited time, resources, and efforts on the critical Congressional and state legislature races - the lawmakers who will make or break our great state and nation over the next 4 years.
