Our government no longer governs with the consent of the people. It governs in spite of the people. It no longer governs by the constitutional law of the land, but by selective solutions in the moment whereby the end justifies the means.
Our elected officials are no longer legislators of character and conscience, but legislators of ideologies and self interests. They no longer hold the country they serve in reverence and high esteem, but look at her with dissatisfaction and disgust. They no longer sing her praise, applaud her heroes, or preserve her sovereignty. Instead, they seek to change her history, alter her traditions and ignore her greatness.
How can you govern a country you clearly don't honor. How can you govern a people you clearly don't respect. And yet this year, after you have clearly ignored your allegiance to the people, compromised your principles, and sold your character that should define your person, you will come to us and expect our vote.

The belief that our border security is "imperfect but adequate" is a gold-plated bipartisan charade, the kind of charade that never goes out of season in Washington, D.C. There are Republicans as well as Democrats who perpetuate the lie of border security. Why? It allows the amnesty parade to move forward while denying there is any price to be paid. Dick Armey, Grover Norquist and Lindsey Graham are prominent Republican cheerleaders in this farce.

A crew of federal officials wandering into a day labor hiring zone used to mean one thing: time to leave.
Not the case Thursday morning on Monument Boulevard. Armed with coffee, not handcuffs, investigators from the U.S. Department of Labor chatted warmly with Latino immigrant workers about how to find jobs without being exploited.
"We're the feds, but the good ones," said Paul Ramirez, speaking in Spanish inside the Michael Chavez Center, a gathering spot for day laborers. "We're here to help workers."

Proposed Amnesty
According to news reports, under the proposed legislation all illegal immigrants would have to do is admit they broke the law, pay a fine and back taxes, and perform community service and they could become permanent legal residents - - all 25 to 30 million of them!
Just think of the increased job loss, wage depression, strain on the environment and burden on budgets, hospitals and schools such an Amnesty would cause - - and at a time when millions of Americans are out of work! ...
This push for Amnesty only encourages more to cross our borders illegally to become an even greater burden on our schools, hospitals and our environment!

Any politician who refuses to work to secure our borders and create an immigration system that has integrity is either corrupt or too dumb to keep his (her) job. A group of New Jersey tea party activists can proceed in their effort to recall Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez, a state appellate court ruled Tuesday.The court ruled that the New Jersey secretary of state must accept petitions the Sussex County Tea Party is planning to gather to put Menendez on the ballot. New Jersey is one of 18 states that allows for recalls of statewide officials, but Menendez's lawyers had maintained that senators could not be removed from office by that method. RoseAnn Salanitri, the founder of the Sussex County Tea Party and the leader of the Committee to Recall U.S. Senator Robert Menendez, called the court decision a victory for the recall campaign."The fight is just beginning to keep our representatives accountable," Salanitri told POLITICO Tuesday morning. "No way are we lying down and playing dead."Salanitri's group must turn in 1.3 million signatures from supporters in order to put a recall of Menendez up for a vote.Robert Asaro-Angelo, executive director of the New Jersey Democratic State Committee, blasted Saalatrini's group in a statement after the decision, bringing up past extreme statements she's made.“These people are on a crusade to undermine the U.S. Constitution and to discredit human evolution.
